It's a slice of my life with my amma. She is an experienced tailor and would make the most beautiful South Asian clothes with interesting designs. I’d always find her cutting yards of material folded neatly on the floor. Whilst juggling being a part-time office worker, part-time tailor, and full-time mum, she’d find the time to teach me Kantha embroidery (A traditional Bengali embroidery style), something that she learned from her amma.
