This was for my Last 'Film and Animation' project for my 1st year at uni. Here's one of my brief animations for the end of year project focusing on how sounds can emphasis how to tell a story. I went for a different appearance with this 2D animated short. It was my first time using 'TVPaint animation', haha I definitely need more practice using the software. This is my short film about someone who is displaced in their world and is longing to be where others are.
Will they get there in the end?

I created this animation during a very vulnerable point in my life where I also felt out of place, I was juggling between my dark moments, seeing my doctor, and finishing this film. It was challenging both technically and emotionally, but I am proud that Ava was completed and I couldn’t have done it without the help of my lovely team.
